Infinite Verse

Infinite Verse Terms of Service

Effective 2026-06-08

Welcome to Infinite Verse, the anime and manga universe built and owned by Anime Universe Global Holding Inc. (AUGH), a company organized under the laws of the State of Texas, USA, founded by our Inventor and Chair, Sebastien Bilodeau. These Terms of Service are the agreement between you and AUGH for your use of Infinite Verse: the reading experience, the creator tools, the companions, the marketplace, the wallet, and everything else we build under the Infinite Verse name across web and mobile. We have tried to write this in plain language, because you deserve to actually understand what you are agreeing to, while keeping it legally sound. By creating an account, signing in, or using any part of Infinite Verse, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. A short note up front: Infinite Verse is a place for creators and fans, and these Terms are meant to protect both. They explain what you can do here, what rights you keep over what you make, what rights you grant us so we can run the service, and how money, content, and disputes are handled. Where these Terms touch how we collect and use your data, our Privacy Policy carries the detail and is incorporated into this agreement by reference. Please also read Section 12 (Governing Law and Dispute Resolution) carefully, because it affects how legal claims between you and us are resolved.

1. Who We Are and What These Terms Cover

Infinite Verse is operated by Anime Universe Global Holding Inc. (AUGH), organized under the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Throughout these Terms, "AU", "Infinite Verse", "we", "us", and "our" mean AUGH and the platform it operates. "You" means the person using the service, whether as a reader, a fan, or a creator. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, and certain payment and payout flows are run through affiliated AU payment entities and banking rails (described in the Payments section below). Where a different AU affiliate acts as the merchant of record or payout agent for a given transaction, that affiliate acts on behalf of AUGH, and AUGH remains your contracting party under these Terms.

These Terms apply to every Infinite Verse surface we offer: the web platform, the mobile applications, the manga reader, creator and mangaka tools, NIMA companions, the marketplace, subscriptions, and the AU Coin wallet. They work together with our Privacy Policy, which explains in detail what data we collect and how we use it, and with any community guidelines, creator agreements, and feature-specific notices we publish. If anything in a feature-specific notice, a creator agreement, or a posted policy conflicts with these Terms, the more specific document controls for that feature, and these Terms govern everything else.

In short: this is the master agreement for being on Infinite Verse. Read it once, keep it handy, and reach out if anything is unclear.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

Infinite Verse is built for a broad anime and manga audience, and we know that audience includes younger fans. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the platform. If you are under the age of majority where you live (typically 18), you may use Infinite Verse only with the involvement and verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and supervises your use, including any purchases. Where local law sets a higher age of digital consent (for example, 16 in parts of the European Union and the United Kingdom, or under Quebec's Law 25), that higher age applies to you.

Consistent with the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar laws elsewhere, we do not knowingly collect personal information from, or allow accounts to be created by, children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13 without the required consent, we will delete it promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account improperly or that we hold information about your child, contact us at privacy@animeuniverse.com and we will help you review, delete, or stop further collection of that information.

Accounts are created through Firebase Authentication, including email sign-in and magic-link one-time codes. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method secure and for everything that happens under your account. Provide accurate information when you register, keep it current, and let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We mint a sovereign session for you after sign-in and verify it on protected routes, but the security of your inbox and devices is in your hands.

Access to Infinite Verse may be invite-gated or staged while features roll out, and we may decline, suspend, or limit accounts to protect the platform, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. One person, one account, unless we expressly permit otherwise. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account, and you may not create an account on behalf of someone else without authority to bind them.

3. Acceptable Use

Infinite Verse is a community, and the rules here exist to keep it a good one. You agree to use the platform lawfully and respectfully, and not to do anything that harms other users, our creators, or the service itself. This includes a commitment not to harass, threaten, defame, or impersonate others, not to post or share content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, or that infringes someone else's rights, and not to use Infinite Verse to distribute malware, spam, or deceptive material. Content that sexually exploits or endangers minors is never tolerated, and we report it to the authorities and the appropriate organizations as the law requires.

You also agree not to attack or abuse the technical fabric of the platform. Do not attempt to bypass our rate limits, authentication, content protections, or release-stage gates; do not scrape, crawl, or harvest content or data except as we expressly allow; do not reverse engineer, decompile, or probe our sovereign technology; and do not use bots, automation, or shared credentials to manipulate the wallet, the marketplace, creator earnings, companion interactions, or any usage metering. Our AI features (translation, text-to-speech, voice cloning, inpainting, and NIMA companion chat) are provided for legitimate, good-faith use, and you agree not to submit content to them that you have no right to use, that is designed to extract another person's likeness or voice without consent, or that attempts to jailbreak, overload, or misuse the models.

We may remove content, throttle access, or take other action when use crosses these lines. We would always rather guide than punish, so most issues start with a notice and a chance to fix things, but serious or repeated violations can lead to suspension or termination as described later in these Terms.

4. Your Content and the Licence You Grant Us

When you post, upload, submit, or share anything on Infinite Verse, whether that is a comment, a profile bio, an avatar, a wishlist, a companion conversation, audio you record, or any other material ("User Content"), you keep ownership of it. You do not assign your rights to us by posting. What you do give us is a licence to operate the platform: a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable (only to our service providers acting on our behalf), and transferable (only as part of a business transfer described in Section 15) licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, format, translate, transmit, cache, and display your User Content for the purpose of running, securing, improving, and promoting Infinite Verse and the features you choose to use. This licence lasts only as long as we need it to provide the service and meet our legal obligations, and it ends when you delete your content or close your account, except for residual copies kept in backups or required by law, and except for anything you have already shared publicly that others have relied upon.

Some features only work because your content passes through trusted processors. For example, text you send to translation, text-to-speech, or companion chat, images and masks you submit for inpainting, and audio samples you provide for voice features are transmitted to the third-party AI providers we name in our Privacy Policy so the feature can run. You authorize that processing when you use the feature. We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we instruct our AI processors to handle your content only for the requested task; where a provider's own data-use terms govern, we describe that in the Privacy Policy so you can make an informed choice.

Voice samples and recorded audio deserve special mention because they can be biometric data under laws such as Illinois BIPA, Texas CUBI, and the GDPR. We only collect and use voice samples for voice features you affirmatively choose, we obtain any consent the law requires before we do, we tell you what happens to them, and we apply a defined retention and deletion schedule (set out in the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to submit any voice, likeness, or third-party material you provide. You also represent that your User Content does not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights, and you agree to take responsibility if it does.

5. Creator Content, Ownership, and the Creator Licence

Creators are the heart of Infinite Verse, and our position is simple: creators own their work. If you are a mangaka or other creator, you retain all intellectual property rights in the manga, art, chapters, characters, audio, and other creative works you publish on the platform ("Creator Content"). Publishing on Infinite Verse does not transfer your copyright to us.

To distribute, display, protect, translate, and monetize your work across Infinite Verse on web and mobile, you grant AU a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, format, translate, adapt for our reader and companion experiences, transmit, cache, and display your Creator Content, and to promote it within the platform and in marketing for Infinite Verse. This licence is limited to operating and growing the platform and the services you opt into. It is not exclusive, so you keep the freedom to use your work elsewhere, and it ends when you remove your work or close your creator account, subject to reasonable wind-down for purchases already made, backups, and legal retention. Specific creator terms, including any optional features, may add detail through a separate creator agreement, which controls where it is more specific.

While creators own their content, AU owns the platform and the sovereign technology that powers it. The Infinite Verse name and brand, the software, the reader engine, the rendering and engine layers, the wallet and ledger systems, the companion systems, the design system, and all of our invented technology are the property of AUGH and are protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms gives you any ownership of our platform or technology, and you agree not to copy, imitate, or build derivative products from our sovereign systems.

6. Copyright, the DMCA, and Takedown Requests

We respect intellectual property, and we expect everyone on Infinite Verse to do the same. If you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright, you can send a notice under the United States Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to our designated agent at copyright@animeuniverse.com. Your notice should include enough detail for us to act: identification of the work you say is infringed, identification of the material you want removed and where it is located on the platform, your contact information, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, the law, or an exception, a statement (under penalty of perjury) that your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for them, and your physical or electronic signature.

When we receive a complete and valid notice, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material, and we will make a reasonable effort to notify the person who posted it. If you are that person and you believe the material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with the information the DMCA requires, including your consent to the jurisdiction described in Section 12. We may restore the material if the law permits and the original complainant does not pursue a court action within the time the DMCA allows.

We keep a record of these matters, and consistent with the DMCA, we maintain and enforce a policy of terminating, in appropriate cases, the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others. Submitting a false or bad-faith notice or counter-notice can carry legal consequences for the sender.

7. Creator Revenue Tiers and AU Coin

Infinite Verse is built around a creator economy, and we want creators to earn a fair, generous share. Eligible creators move through a revenue tier ladder that increases their share of revenue from their work, beginning at Spark and rising through Ember, Flame, and Blaze, with Sovereign and Founder's Covenant tiers reserved for invited creators. Tips go entirely to the creator. The exact percentages, eligibility, and payout mechanics for each tier are described in our creator materials and may be updated as the program evolves; this section is a high-level summary, not a guarantee of any particular rate for any particular creator.

AU Coin is the branded currency of the Infinite Verse wallet. It is a closed-loop virtual currency you can buy and spend inside the platform on content, unlocks, and supported features. AU Coin and our other in-platform balances (such as Ink and Koi) are not cryptocurrency, not securities, and not NFTs. They have no value outside Infinite Verse, are not transferable between users except where a feature expressly allows it, cannot be exchanged back into cash except through creator payout mechanisms we operate, and may be subject to limits, expiration, or adjustment as described in the wallet terms and applicable law. We keep ledgers of wallet activity so balances and transactions are accurate and auditable.

Creator payouts are real money and are handled through our payment and banking partners. To receive payouts, creators provide the banking details needed for their region (for example, a Mercury recipient identifier for USD payouts, or account details for Canadian direct deposit). We protect sensitive payout details with strong encryption at the application layer. Payout timing, minimums, taxes, and reporting follow the creator payout terms and the law of the jurisdictions involved, and you are responsible for the taxes on what you earn.

8. Payments

Purchases on Infinite Verse (AU Coin packs, Koi packs, chapter unlocks, themes, and subscriptions such as the Vortex Pass, AI Sage Pass, and per-creator subscriptions) are processed by Stripe and, on mobile, may go through Apple's App Store or Google Play billing where their rules require it. We do not collect or store your full card number or security code; payment card data is handled by our payment processors under their own security standards, and our integration is designed to keep us out of scope of that data. Prices are shown before you confirm, and amounts are charged in the currency presented to you, plus any taxes that apply.

Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods at the then-current price until you cancel, and you can manage or cancel a subscription through your account or the relevant app store. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period unless required by law or stated otherwise. Virtual currency and digital content purchases are generally final once delivered, because the value is consumed immediately, except where a refund is required by applicable consumer law (including, where it applies, the EU and UK right of withdrawal) or by the rules of the app store you bought through. If a charge looks wrong, contact us and we will look into it in good faith.

You agree to pay all amounts due for purchases you make, and you authorize us and our processors to charge your selected payment method. If a payment fails, is reversed, or is charged back without a valid basis, we may suspend access to the affected content or features and recover amounts owed. We may also use fraud and abuse controls to protect creators and the platform, including holding or reversing transactions that appear fraudulent.

9. Privacy and Your Data Rights

Your privacy matters to us, and the full detail of what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and who we share it with lives in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. We process personal information to run your account, deliver the features you use, process payments and payouts, keep the platform secure, comply with law, and improve the experience. Where the law requires a lawful basis (as under the GDPR and UK GDPR), we rely on your consent, the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests, or our legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, and port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing already carried out. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Where we transfer personal data across borders, including to the United States, we use safeguards recognized by law, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, and we describe these in the Privacy Policy.

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, the right to access and delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing for you to opt out of on that front, and we will never discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Residents of other US states with similar laws have comparable rights. To make any privacy request, contact us at privacy@animeuniverse.com, and see the Privacy Policy for the verification steps and response timelines we follow.

10. Disclaimers of Warranties

We pour real care into Infinite Verse, and we want it to work beautifully for you. At the same time, the law requires us to be clear about the limits of what we can promise. Infinite Verse is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AU disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, perfectly secure, or always available, that defects will be corrected, or that the service is free of harmful components. Features that rely on AI, including translation, text-to-speech, voice features, inpainting, and companion chat, can produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected results, and you should use judgment before relying on AI output. Creator Content is created by creators, not by us, and we do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy, quality, or legality of any User Content or Creator Content. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and you may have rights that these Terms do not limit.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AU and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or business interruption, arising out of or related to your use of Infinite Verse, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. This applies whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory.

To the extent a court still holds us liable despite the limitations above, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Infinite Verse will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred US dollars. Because some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, these limits apply to you only to the extent permitted by the law that governs your relationship with us, and nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as for fraud, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by our negligence where the law so provides.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AU and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and partners from and against any claims, demands, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your User Content or Creator Content, your use or misuse of Infinite Verse, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or of the rights of any third party, including intellectual property, privacy, publicity, and biometric rights.

We will let you know about any claim subject to this section, and we may, at our option, take over the defense and settlement of a claim, in which case you agree to cooperate with us. This obligation survives the end of your account and these Terms, to the extent the underlying conduct happened while they were in effect. This indemnity applies only to the extent permitted by the law that governs your relationship with us, and it does not apply to consumers where the law does not allow it.

13. Termination

You can stop using Infinite Verse at any time and close your account through your account settings or by contacting us. When you close your account, we end the operating licences you granted, subject to backups, content others have already relied on, and records we are required to keep, such as financial records that we retain for the period set by law.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use creates legal or security risk, if required by law, or if we discontinue a feature or the service. Where it is reasonable and lawful to do so, we will give notice and, for fixable issues, a chance to put things right. Some provisions are meant to outlast the relationship: ownership and intellectual property terms, the licences needed to wind down purchases, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law, and dispute resolution all survive termination. If we terminate your account without cause, we will handle any unused, refundable balances in line with the wallet terms and applicable law.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to Infinite Verse are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and by applicable US federal law. AUGH is organized in Texas, and Texas is the home of this agreement. Where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your home country or state give you rights that cannot be waived, those rights still apply to you and this clause does not take them away.

Before starting any formal proceeding, we ask that you first contact us at privacy@animeuniverse.com so we can try to resolve the matter informally; most concerns can be settled quickly and in good faith, and we commit to engaging with you for at least thirty days. If we cannot resolve a dispute that way, you and AU agree that the state and federal courts located in the State of Texas will have exclusive jurisdiction and venue, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there, except where the law that protects you as a consumer requires that a dispute be heard in your local courts. Each party will bear its own costs except as a court may otherwise award.

To the extent permitted by law, any claim must be brought on an individual basis and not as part of a class, consolidated, or representative action, and each party waives any right to a jury trial where the law allows that waiver. This paragraph does not apply where the law of your home country or state prohibits these waivers for consumers, in which case it does not apply to you. Regardless of any law to the contrary, any claim arising out of these Terms or Infinite Verse must be filed within one year after it arose, except where applicable law requires a longer period that cannot be shortened.

15. International Use, Sanctions, and Export Controls

Infinite Verse is operated from the United States, and we make it available across web and mobile to a global audience. If you use the platform from outside the United States, you are responsible for complying with your local laws, and you understand that your information will be processed in the United States and in other countries where we or our service providers operate, with the safeguards described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you are not located in a country subject to comprehensive US trade sanctions, that you are not on any US government list of restricted or prohibited parties, and that you will not use Infinite Verse in violation of US export control or sanctions laws. We may restrict access in regions where we cannot lawfully or practically offer the service.

16. Changes to These Terms

Infinite Verse grows, and these Terms will grow with it. When we make changes, we will post the updated Terms with a new effective date, and for material changes we will give you reasonable advance notice through the platform, by email, or by another clear method before they take effect. Continued use of Infinite Verse after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms for ongoing use of the service.

Some changes need more than passive acceptance, and we treat them that way. Where the law requires fresh, affirmative consent, for example for features that rely on your consent such as voice or biometric processing, we will ask you to agree again rather than relying on continued use. If you do not agree to an update, you can stop using the affected feature or close your account before it takes effect. We keep prior versions on file so you can see what changed.

17. General Terms

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any policies or agreements they reference, are the entire agreement between you and AUGH about Infinite Verse, and they replace any earlier understanding on the same subject. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, that part will be limited or removed to the smallest degree necessary, and the rest will stay in full effect.

If we do not enforce a provision right away, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our written consent, and any attempt to do so is void; we may assign these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, and your rights will carry over. Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, employment, or agency relationship between you and us. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, outages, or acts of government. We will send legal notices to you through the platform or to the email associated with your account, and you can send legal notices to us at the contact address in Section 18.

18. How to Reach Us

We would like to hear from you, whether it is a question about these Terms, a privacy or data request, a copyright report, a report about content, or a concern about your account or a payment. You can reach our team at privacy@animeuniverse.com for general, account, and privacy matters, and at copyright@animeuniverse.com for copyright and DMCA notices. We aim to respond promptly and treat every message with care. For data-protection requests, our Privacy Policy describes the rights available to you and the timelines we follow. Anime Universe Global Holding Inc. is organized under the laws of the State of Texas, USA, and you can ask us for our current postal address for formal legal notices.

Thank you for being part of Infinite Verse. Our promise is to keep building a universe worth your time, to treat creators generously, and to handle your trust with the seriousness it deserves. These Terms exist to protect that relationship, for you and for us, so the stories can keep going.
